Kilmory

From  Cleats Shore in the west to Bennan Head in the east and taking in Clachaig, Kilmory, and Torrylinn, this area has extensive coast, access to moorlands, woodlands, farmland, and a number of areas of fresh water including ponds, rivers and burns.






Most of the widespread and common birds are found in this area (See Arran Bird Report) plus there are regular sightings of hen harrier, peregrine, wintering geese, teal, grasshopper warbler in summer and sanderling on passage.
