Brodick

Birds > Locations



From  Merkland Point in the north to Corriegills Point in the south and taking in Glen Rosa, Glen Shurig and Glen Cloy, this area has extensive coast, access to spectacular hills, broadleaf woodland, and a number of areas of fresh water including rivers and burns.




Most of the widespread and common birds are found in this area (See Arran Bird Report) plus regular sightings of kingfisher, great-spotted woodpecker, wood warbler, black guillemot, red-breasted merganser, and eider.
